Stationed safely behind the 1st base batting practice net, Colorado Rockies 3rd base coach Rich Dauer didn’t expect he’d be leaving the ballpark early with a broken nose — but that’s what happens when homeboy Chris Nelson decides to turn two into your face.
Dauer left the field bloodied and with a broken nose, headed to the hospital for observation.
