They may not have been the best team in the NL West, but there’s no doubt that the Los Angeles Dodgers have the best pregame handshake in the bigs.

For those not in the know, Rod Barajas has been cradling Dee Gordon (AKA Matt Kemp’s son — see below) before games for several weeks and so far the superstition has worked. Gordon has gotten a hit in every game they’ve done the “shake.”

The Amarillo Sox are a professional baseball team based out of Amarillo, Texas, from the independent American Association baseball league. And while there’s a 100-percent chance that you haven’t heard of these Lone Star State not so professional pros, that’s not keeping their mascot, the Amarillo Sox Sock (yes it’s a sock, not a banana with a hard on) from getting a little too excited from running around the stands touching men and children with his giant “big toe.”

Here’s to cheap beers, seven errors per game and 47-year-old mascots touching kids with his massive banana cock-sock.

I guess being on fire isn’t quite as cool when you’re not in an early 90′s Tournament Edition video game but you are in the outside lane of a motocross race that fifteen spectators and your parents came to watch.

When Super Bowl XXXII finally arrived, the Denver radio station’s predictions were confirmed as the AFC champion Denver Broncos (16–4) defeated the heavily favored NFC champion and defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers (15–4) 31–24.
