In November, costume gallery articles are annoying because every blog that gets 30 pageviews per month or more throws one up — yes, even you Gizmodo.
But it’s March, and I’m finally getting around to writing about Halloween, and it’s the one time my procrastination kinda works. So here you go internets — 30 pictures of dogs in Halloween costumes 5 months late… or as I like to put it, 7 months early.

It wasn’t easy limiting this gallery to just 20 images, I didn’t even have room to include a single panda shot (though pandas probably deserve their own gallery anyway).
Some of these photos are cute, some frightening, while others are downright baffling. Your favorite animal pic is probably not on this list (you can always include a link in the comments section below) but regardless, these are 20 great moments in animal awesomeness.

It’s great to see that some puppies are resourceful enough to prevent unwanted pregnancies despite the lack of pug sized condoms. Let this be a lesson — don’t waste your money spaying or neutering your pet, especially in this economy.
Instead, teach them a few new tricks — OK fluffy, roll over… and spread um.
