If you’re like me, an urbanite Southern California native, watching the Outdoor Channel is a lot like watching the Guido show on MTV — you get an introspective on an unknown culture while affirming the fact that your own subculture is a much more superior culture.
So why watch these shows? Entertainment value, of course.

In an age where people spend more time on their phones and computers than they do interacting with other people, it’s nice to see that, despite the fact that there is probably more ink on Mike Tyson’s face than there was on this guy’s typewriter ribbon, some people are still willing to embrace their technological roots.
