ESPN’s Chris “Boomer” Berman On Drug Running

I’m not exactly sure what the “pop” is that Chris Berman talks about regarding the Codeine smuggling he’s apparently been doing. As far as I know, Codeine is an opiate painkiller that causes numbness and drowsiness. So If Boomer considers “pop” that feeling you get after Thanksgiving Dinner (otherwise known as “dat itis” or “niggaitis“), it’s no wonder he weighs as much as he does.

More importantly, Berman is set to play a role in Mark Johnson’s 2009 drama, When In Rome. Sources say Johnson fell in love with Boomer’s work as Vincent Benedict in the 1988 hit Twins, when he starred alongside California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger.
