I came across this story a while back, forgot about it and am just now deciding to post it. The back story is this: Keith Richards sat down with NME Magazine for an interview, and being the notorious drug abuser that he is, NME correspondents felt compelled to ask about his wild years (which still appear as wild as before). When they questioned his snort-selectivity, he explained that ‘he likes to keep it in the family…’
“The strangest thing I’ve tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father. He was cremated and I couldn’t resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow.” Richards continued to explain the scenario in the interview, stating that his father’s ashes “went down pretty well, and I’m still alive. My dad wouldn’t have cared.”
