I had a professor back in high school, Mr. Bolyog. He was actually more of a teacher than a professor – well, more of a daycare instructor that parents didn’t want their kids around than someone that should be responsible for spearheading the betterment of my high school education (he taught Spanish, so I guess it didn’t really matter).
He had this huge map in the back of his class that was similar to the one pictured above. He also ran for president and got between seven and nine votes (none of which were from his wife, who is also his step-sister, so no one took him seriously). Oh, and he wrote a trilogy called Aiden’s Cauldron that he self nominated as, ‘better than Lord of the Rings.”
Who knew I’d ever sympathize with his map.
