To show our support for our favorite late night TV host, we’ve decided to make more of an effort to Conanize Banned In Hollywood.

Today’s Conan O’Brien clip featured Andy Richter, Max Weinberg, and Bobby Bowman teaming up with Conan to perform an epic rendition of Led Zeppelin’s Dazed And Confused.

Not only does Conan O’Brien do a nearly flawless Robert Plant impersonation, the video comes complete with, you guessed it, fantasy sequences.

There’s nothing worse than listening to horrible live music, and this guy is clearly feeling the harsh effects of what a euro-pop-rock-dance-trance cover of Stairway To Heaven does to the mind and body.

There’s something strangely compelling about watching these two headbangers headbang away to the gentle sounds of mother nature while wearing speedos and fanning a fire with an oar.

It is, more or less, like watching a man fire himself from a cannonball only to miss the landing pad and crumple onto the dirt in a discombobulated pile of skin and bones, you shouldn’t look, but you do, and after you do you can’t help replaying the video seven times over.

I’m glad some are still holding the torch…

LOS ANGELES – In a day where the so-called “greatest” bands consists of a bunch of 8 year old bubble gum stars (yes that includes you Good Charlotte), it’s refreshing to see that at least a few people get it. Take The Pacific, a local Los Angeles band that pushes their ideals of rock’n'roll in every way of life.

Amidst all the bopper-beatsy garbage, these guys aren’t trying to write gimmicky songs with catchy techno-pop phrases, but instead they are influenced by the classics: The Beatles, The Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Oasis, and The Libertines to name a few.
