But the good fellas over at Sports Illustrated just informed us that in 2015 they are starting a special issue of their popular sports magazine called le Swimsuit Issue that will feature hot chicks in bikinis — one of which might be 21-year-old Canadian model Kim Cloutier.

Oh, that was 20111? Ok here ya go…

Michigan born and Florida raised Kate Upton is the hottest young swimsuit model to hit the pages of Sports Illustrated in recent years.

Kate Upton is a decorated horseback rider (insert bareback joke), the 2010-2011 face of Guess, was featured in SI’s 2011 Swimsuit Issue where she was named “Rookie of the Year”, has modeled for Beach Bunny swimwear and Victoria’s Secret and the best news of all — She’s just 18 years old.

And now on to the important stuff.

Esti Ginzburg is yet another young up and coming model from Tel Aviv, Israel, and like her better known Israeli competition, Bar Refaeli, Ginzburg has been a staple in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition for the past three years.

Esti Ginzburg began her career modeling for a milk advertisement and at the age of 14 signed a contract with modeling agency Elite Models. Since then she’s worked for such companies as Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, FCUK, Pull and Bear, and Castro.

As previously mentioned, Ginzburg has been featured in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 SI Swimsuit Issues and while she hasn’t made a cover yet, she made her acting debut in the 2010 Joel Schumacher film Twelve.

On July 22, 2009 Ginzburg was drafted into the Israeli military she explicitly supports and caused headlines for criticizing fellow Israeli model Bar Rafaeli for avoiding military service by engaging in a short-lived marriage to a family friend.

Now onto the good stuff.

Which she may not have made the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2011 Swimsuit Edition which was reserved for Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, Brooklyn Decker deserves a very, very honorable mention (yea, I guess gracing the cover two years in a row can’t be expected).

The cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition was revealed Monday night on Late Night With David Letterman (video below) and as we expected, the cover girl just so happens to be our most popular Banned’s Great Gallery Girl — Irina Shayk.

The Russia born Irina Shayk (sometimes credited as Irina Sheik) appeared in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue but this will be her first SI cover.

Expect big things from Irina Shayk in 2011 and if you can’t wait, check out the official Irina Shayk website and the rest of her gallery at Sports Illustrated.

We also figure that a swimsuit model deserves visual attention — not textual — so I’ll be brief.
