Jon Stewart Hits Back At Congress Regarding The First Responder Bill

While it is a comedy talk show, every once in a while an important issue comes up in politics or worldnews where Jon Stewart tightens the tone of The Daily Show in an effort to defend what is right — regardless of whether or not it’s a partisan issue.

While we usually don’t post videos that aren’t in the tone of wannabe rapper smokes too much pot and passes out on YouTube, we do every now and then post something semi-kinda-serious, and this is one of those such things. It’s also pretty funny.

In this clip Jon Stewart goes after congress for adding an amendment to the same First Responders Bill he defended a few months ago that requires anyone seeking aid for say, 9/11 onset cancer chemo treatment to clear the United States Terrorist List.

Jon Stewart takes to the non-issues like he does every once in a while, only this time he’s after national news organizations for stepping on the toes of the explicitly emasculating gay-painted toes of a transgendered 5-year-old in a J.Crew ad who isn’t actually painted gay or transgendered.
