Earlier today I stopped in American Apparel today but no one was working, so I went next door to Starbucks but the line was huge because they only had one girl working.

I left and decided to hop in my VW Jetta but it wouldn’t start. I was confused so I sat in my Jetta, turned on KISS FM and got nothing but static. What’s going on, I thought as I instinctively tuned in to 97.1 for some Tom Leykis goodness, only to be greeted with a caller being blown up and then a commercial. I tuned in to KROQ which had static but was acceptably clear. Just then the disc jockey announced the next track – a track by Good Charlotte.

Not this gay sh!t, I said to myself… Then it hit me. Today is Wednesday – it’s no gay day, which is in many ways a completely gay manifestation of the film about a day without a Mexican called A Day Without A Mexican. The only difference is that on no gay day, society in Southern California still runs, it just has a lot less AIDS.

In order for me to do my job on no gay day (though technically the point is not to), I present Gay Moments In Sports (caught in the act).

10 and 9: Fabulous! Hockey on ice

8. The Head-Cock Leg-Lock

7. Give ‘em what they want, where they want it

6 and 5: Love on the Diamond

4. Stuffed in the pocket

3 and 2: Not so subtle

1. “Hold me Ron!” and Bonus: Prince gets creamed

And in case you were wondering, no I do not drive a Jetta or listen to KISS FM.
