After the north won the civil war and outlawed slavery, racist politicians wrote ‘grandfather clauses’ which prevented the newly freed slaves from voting. After these laws were found to be unconstitutional, they outlawed the drugs that minorities were using (instead of the white man’s alcohol).

Anyone who’s ever used these illegal drugs (cannabis, cocaine, opium, k, ’shrooms) knows they’re nowhere near as dangerous as alcohol. But the government outlawed them so they could stuff their prisons with minorities to recover the lost slave labor by replacing it with prison labor.

And with asset forfeiture laws they circumvent the constitution, you’re guilty until proven innocent, you have to prove you bought your property without using drug money, they don’t even need to convict you, simply being accused of buying something with drug money means they can take it without even a trial by jury.
