I would still criticize her, but for compromising her genuine talent for blatant, mindless sex appeal. I'm sure she actually is a decent singer still, but the reality of being on singing while dancing around on a stage that has smoke and fog everywhere after being on tour for a couple weeks is that you will not sound good even someone on the caliber of Luciano Pavarotti had a recording cover him when he sang for the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Athens because he was ill.
